What is carryover examination system in MTU ?
Carryover examination is a system of examination by which a student is allowed to clear his or her backs in the semester examinations. If a student fails in his / her subject, he/she can clear his exams by giving carryover of that subject.
What is special carryover examination ?
Special carryover examination is also a system like carryover examination. Backs in examination can be cleared through this system. Advantage of this system is that a student after clearing backs through this does not get star in the mark sheet. But here are some limitations of this system. Some of them are :
- Only first year student can be benefited from these examinations.
- Has fees somewhat higher than carryover exams.
Fees for carryover and special carryover exams:
Carryover : Rs 500 special carryover: Rs 1500. This fee structure is decided by university and is liable to change any time without any further notice.
Dates of carryover and special carryover examination
Dates are decided by university (MTU) which can change any time. Every year they are rescheduled.
For this year it was decided that these examinations are to be held in june or july for B tech and in may for MBA/ MCA. These dates may also change. You will be informed timely when these changes will be made.
